The Twelfth Annual Graduate Student Conference on East
Asia will be held at Columbia University in the City of
New York on February
7-8, 2003. The conference provides opportunities for participants
to meet and share ideas with graduate students from institutions
worldwide. Panelists gain aluable experience in presenting
their work to an audience of their peers and, in some cases,
Columbia faculty. We welcome applications from graduate
students engaged in research on any field in East Asian
Studies, including History, Literature, Anthropology, Political
Science, Sociology, Art History, and Religion.
