Institute of History and Philology of the Academia Sinica, Taiwan. It is a continuation of
Asia Major, New Series, published in England from 1949 to 1975. It covers all periods of

cultures of other East and Central Asian peoples in their relations with China.

Asia-Pacific
Law and Policy Journal (APLPJ)
Published by the William S. Richardson School of Law at
the University of Hawaii, APLPJ is the first fully functional web-based
legal journal focusing exclusively on Asia and the Pacific Rim. APLPJ
provides authors with a global forum, stimulating research and
discussion of law and policy issues arising in or impacting Asia and the
Pacific.
APLPJ invites authors to submit original articles on issues that impact
the Asian and Pacific region. All submissions should be formatted as a
Microsoft Word for Windows document. The file can be mailed on diskette
or e-mailed as an attachment to the address below. Margins should be 1
inch (2.5 cm) on each side and paragraphs should be indented 0.5 inch
(1.25 cm). All documents should be double-spaced and include a table of
contents. To the extent possible, footnotes or endnotes should follow
the format specified in THE BLUEBOOK: A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION
(Columbia Law Review Assn et al. eds., 17th ed. 2000).
Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. All submissions will
be reviewed by the Publishability Committee, which will consider, among
other things, the quality of the writing, the timeliness of the topic,
and the importance of the issue to Asia and the Pacific Rim.

MediEducator (APME)
Published twice a year by the Graduate School of Journalism at the

Ethnicity
The purpose of the new journal on ethnicity in Asia is to provide a fully
cross-disciplinary, international venue for the publication of well-researched articles
about ethnic groups and ethnic relations in the world's largest continent.

The Review is a refereed annual journal of graduate research in the
humanities. It began publication in 1987. Submissions are encouraged
from present students and recent graduates from graduate programs on
Asia.
The journal website includes tables of contents for early volumes.
Articles since 1997 are available for downloading.
Submit articles on paper and on Macintosh-formatted disks. Any
graphic images included in the article should be included on the disk
and a clear indication of their location in the text should be provided

Published by UCLA graduate students since 1976, the journal serves as a forum for the
exchange of new research by all graduate students in Asian studies. An annual journal, the
journal's extensive readership includes both private individuals and public institutions.
The Editorial Board welcomes papers from graduate students in M.A. and Ph.D. programs.
Essays may treat topics such as literature, language, philosophy, history, religion, art,
music, folklore, or critical theory among others which relate to Asian culture. Papers

The Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal was founded in 1990 as an innovative vehicle
for the discussion of legal and policy issues affecting Asian and trans-Pacific affairs.
The Journal provides a forum for discussion of current issues significant to legal
practice and scholarship in this dynamic region. The Journal is a natural participant in
the active community of international scholarship fostered by the University of
Washington's internationally recognized Asian Law Program, its Comparative Commercial Law
Institute, and its Sustainable Development and International Environmental Law programs.
The Journal is one of only two student-edited law journals in the United States devoted to
