1926 The Soviet Union and Afghanistan agreed to a mutual non-aggression treaty.

1962 Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak, and Brunei agreed to join the Malaya Federation creating Malaysia, all but Brunei joined in 1963. Singapore left in 1965.
