Each year the International Institute and its centers award over a half million dollars in direct support for faculty research projects in international and foreign area fields. The variety of research topics reflect the diverse scope of the Institute's concerns and objectives, whether an in-depth examination of regional issues, a historical perspective, or a topical issue with an interdisciplinary focus.

For Students

The UCLA International Institute and its units provide over $2 million in support annually to UCLA students through fellowships, teaching assistantships, internships, and work-study and other types of employment.
